Improving Our Industry’s Environmental Performance
The Partnership ‘s mission is to continuously improve the industry’s environmental performance. Its framework is built around three principles to responsibly develop our nation’s essential oil and natural gas resources:
1) taking action with voluntary implementation of environmental performance programs,
2) learning about emerging practices and technologies through operator-to-operator sharing, and
3) collaborating with key stakeholder groups to share information on new academic research, program learnings, and new technological developments.
These principles work together to expand operator knowledge and ability to drive continuous environmental improvement. This framework provides significant value to the industry by creating space for peer-to-peer sharing and other stakeholder collaboration and helping individual companies make better informed operational decisions.
