In May, The Environmental Partnership held a compressor focused workshop at Williams Tower in Houston, Texas. Over 100 TEP operators, academia experts, compressor equipment leasing companies and technology vendors convened for a forum focused on compressor-sourced methane emissions reductions.
During the morning session, operators shared strategies for reducing emissions from specific components of compressors and discussed different data monitoring strategies to predict and prevent emissions. During the afternoon session, TEP operators welcomed engine manufacturers, research academia, leasing companies, technology providers and vendors into the problem-solving conversations. Operators had the opportunity to network with these stakeholders to learn about research advancements and ask specific questions as to how these solutions could best fit their unique company footprint and goals.
Presentations from the TEP 2025 Compressor Workshop are available for members in TEP’s Resources Section of the website.
